The European People’s Party (EPP) revealed today the list of candidates running for the Presidency of the EPP. At the EPP Congress in Madrid on 21-22 October, the 749 delegates from 32 countries will elect the members of the new EPP Presidency, including the President, Secretary General, 10 Vice-Presidents and the Treasurer.
 
The EPP President will be elected on Wednesday, 21 October, and will then propose a candidate for Secretary General. Candidates for the 10 Vice-President positions had to be nominated by their national member party or by an EPP member association by 14 October 2015. The Congress delegates will then elect the Secretary General, 10 Vice-Presidents and Treasurer on Thursday, 22 October.
